Each picnic includes a charcuterie board provided by one of our licensed catering partners. The charcuterie board includes an assortment of meat, cheese, crackers, fruits, and accoutrements. Our catering partners can accommodate for allergies and dairy free, gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan requests although there may be a slight increase in price due to the higher cost to sub certain items. We also partner with several bakeries and can offer a variety of desserts as add-ons to your picnic. You are more than welcome to bring your own food as well, but you will be responsible for the set up.
Unfortunately since the consumption of alcohol is not permitted in most public parks, we do not provide alcohol. You may bring your own alcohol for consumption at your own discretion ONLY in permitted venues and private residences. Wild Rose Picnics will not be held responsible for any repercussions pertaining to alcohol.
We are based in Milwaukie, but provide services throughout the Portland metro area. Travel is FREE up to 15 miles from Milwaukie. Travel fees will be charged for locations further than 15 miles. In the event parking fees are required for certain venues, you will be responsible for these fees. If you have a vision for a picnic a little further away, please send us a message and we will see what we can do!
No, please don’t! All you have to do is show up and Wild Rose Picnics will take care of the rest after your picnic ends!
We understand that life happens, and we strive to be as flexible as possible with our customers. While we do not allow cancellations, we are happy to reschedule your picnic if something comes up, provided that you kindly notify us at least 14 days before your picnic date. We will be happy to reschedule you for another date within 3 months of your original scheduled date. If you notify us between 7 and 14 days before your event, a 15% rescheduling fee will incur. We are not able to take reschedules less than 7 days away from your event date. Please also note we cannot guarantee that our partners will be able to accommodate your requested reschedule date. Additional fees may be required for services/products provided by partners that cannot be refunded.
The price of your picnic is dependent on how many attendees and add-ons selected, as well as if there are any additional fees for the venue of your choosing. Please see the packages page for pricing of picnics, and the add-ons page for pricing of add-ons. A deposit of 50% of the event total is required at the time of booking to secure the date, in addition to a $100 security deposit that will be refunded following your event, provided there is no damage to equipment, facilities or venue used. The remaining 50% is due 14 days prior to the event. If payment is not made before the due date, the event will be cancelled, and no refund will be given. A 3% payment processing fee is also due at the time of booking to cover credit card processing fees.
As far in advance as you can! The earlier you book your picnic the more of a possibility we can accommodate you.
We want you to enjoy your picnic to the fullest, and we understand that unpredictable weather does happen, especially in the Pacific Northwest. For this reason, we ask that all bookings have an alternate location, either indoors or under a shelter, in the event of bad weather. We also offer the option of renting our canopy tent for picnics on private venues/property.
If for any reason you end up needing to leave your picnic early, that is not a problem! We simply ask that you give us a 15 minute heads up so have time to make it back to picnic site before you leave. You are responsible for our picnic items until we arrive.
No, we leave after we have met with the host of the picnic before the event start time. We will return to the picnic site at the picnic end time for clean up. If you need us for anything during your picnic, you can call or text us and we will arrive as soon as we are able.
Children 3 and older should be included in your guest count. You are welcome to bring children under 3 at no additional cost (no formal place setting included for children under 3). Please notify us if there will be any children of any age attending your picnic and how many will be in attendance.
